Born and raised in the California Bay Area, I grew up influenced by many different music flavors like Heart, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and many artists we cover that I respect. I'm an energetic cocktail of sensual, provocative, yet powerful vocals which blend into Vinyl Lux's spicy determined classic rock sound. It's a pleasure to play with the amazing talented guys I work with. Singing all my life, I've been performing with bands in Europe and many professional local Bay Area bands, Miss Behaved, Acoustic Embers, Janis Joplin & Mama's and the Papa's Summer of Love. My passion is singing my heart out and spreading the love for those who are willing feel it.

Dermot Erwin

Vinyl Lux Guitars and Vocals

Coming from a very musical family, I picked up the guitar at age 16. I always had an interest in learning to play but it wasn't until my friend said we should start a band that I actually took lessons. It's been over 25 years now and It's a very big part of my life. I'm a blues based rock guitarist but have played everything from rock, blues, funk, country, and reggae to acoustic folk and psychedelic soul, jazz, metal, and classical. My main influences over the years have been Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Edward Van Halen, David Gilmore, Dave Navarro, Jeff Beck, and, BB King. I have played with over 30 different bands and artists and have gigged steadily since I started. I love playing music. Playing guitar is what I do.

Eric DeWolf

Vinyl Lux Bass Guitars, Vocals

Early influences...Chicago and Queen, started learning Trombone and Guitar in 86' and bass in 88'. Studied composition at Chabot in the 90s. Focused on composing songs and rock operas for nearly 20 years. Adept in many genres of music including Rock, Metal, Funk, Jazz, Progressive Rock and Metal. Always searching out epic music and grandiose arrangements!

Eric DeWolf rocks steady with his low end rhythm section and spontaneous riffs fitting right in the pocket.

Joel Anderson

Vinyl Lux Drums, Vocals

Playing and recording in the Bay Area since the age of 17 (1987), Joel has been pounding on the skins for many local bands including Santana and Primus. You can hear his main influences of David Garibaldi (Tower of Power) and John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) when he plays. Joel is a strong backbone of Vinyl Lux with a solid rhythmic thundering grove.
